Elderflower Cordial

Ingredients

• 25 Elderflower heads
• 1.5L water
• 1kg sugar
• Juice of 1 lemon

Method

1. Add the elderflower heads to the water and boil for 5 mins
2. Steep for 24 hours
3. Strain With musslin or a tea towel back into the saucepan removing all the plant matter
4. add sugar, heat until dissolved.

6. Store in steralised bottle.
