Dal
Recipe from my friend Abass.
Ingredients
- 165g split yellow dal
 - 4 / 6 small Tomatoes - halved
 - 2 cloves Garlic - finely chopped
 - 1 inch Ginger - finely chopped
 - 1 tspn Garam Masala
 - 1 tspn Kashmiri Chilli
 - 1 tspn Curry Powder
 - 1 tspn Salted butter
 - 450ml Water
 
Method
- 
Melt butter on a low/medium heat and add garlic and ginger for two minutes
 - 
Add spices and mix for 30 seconds
 - 
Add chopped tomatoes and cook until soft
 - 
Add dal and water. Simmer on low heat for 1 hour.
